Cookie policy

A cookie is a file that a website stores in the browser in order to recognise it on later visits. This website stores none, so there is nothing to accept, reject or configure.

This is not an oversight: the site was built so that none would be needed. The absence of a consent notice follows from that design.

Most of the cookies found on a restaurant website are not set by the restaurant but by the third-party services embedded in its pages. No such service is embedded here.

• The typefaces are served from this same domain, so no external server receives any information about the visit.
• The icons are vector drawings written into the HTML itself. No external library is downloaded.
• The map is not embedded: it is published as an image and a link. An embedded map sets third-party cookies as soon as it is displayed, which on its own would require a consent notice on every page.
• No measurement tools, tracking pixels, social media buttons, embedded video, chat widgets or advertising are used.
• No third-party script is loaded: the site runs entirely on resources served from its own domain.

This statement can be verified: the project includes an automated test that walks the pages of the built site in a real browser and fails if a single cookie is left stored at the end. Its current result is zero cookies.

The booking, WhatsApp and directions buttons open pages belonging to other companies, which may set cookies of their own. Their use is governed by each provider’s policy and not by this one.

While browsing within this website no cookie and no browsing data are stored in the browser; that can only happen after voluntarily accessing one of those services. The browser does keep the site’s own files in its cache -images, fonts, stylesheets-, which is what makes a second visit load faster and identifies no one.

Should this website ever require a cookie (to remember the reading language, for example), this policy would be updated before it was set and would state its name, its purpose and how long it lasts. If it were not strictly necessary for the service, prior consent would be requested.

For as long as this page reads as it does, no cookies are used.
